At long last, it has happened. No, BJ and the Bear is not coming back to television. Kwame Kilpatrick resigned as the mayor of Detroit today. The big turd who lied, cheated and stole while in office is not only resigning, admitting guilt in two felony counts of obstruction, and going to forgo his pension as well as pay $1,000,000 in restitution. Oh yeah, and agree to jail time. Awesome. Read more about it here.

On the day of the Dream Cruise, I was finally able to see the old Commuter Apartments after the fire. It was certainly a bummer, as I think of the good times that were had there. Lots of brews were consumed and many hours of foosball were played. For the location and the money, the Commuter Apartments were the best place to live in Royal Oak.
After seeing the amount of units that were completely gutted, it's amazing to think that no one was seriously hurt.
The person responsible for this must really feel like a total loser. To ruin such a great place to live is a terrible thing to be accountable for.
