On the day of the Dream Cruise, I was finally able to see the old Commuter Apartments after the fire. It was certainly a bummer, as I think of the good times that were had there. Lots of brews were consumed and many hours of foosball were played. For the location and the money, the Commuter Apartments were the best place to live in Royal Oak.
After seeing the amount of units that were completely gutted, it's amazing to think that no one was seriously hurt.
The person responsible for this must really feel like a total loser. To ruin such a great place to live is a terrible thing to be accountable for.
I wish i would have had the chance to loot that place a little more. I would have like to take the 540 sign.someday if i have dumb money to spend i want to have my guitar re-built. I still have the apartment key and would like to have that inlaid at the 12th fret.sploosh (pouring one out for the commuters)
